Agvar was founded in 1970 by Dr. Agnes Varis. Agvar is one of the leading marketers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in the USA. Our customer base includes the leading generic drug manufacturers in the USA, as well as the multi source divisions of a number of innovator companies. Agvar’s unique combination of experience with the FDA regulatory process and a large portfolio of industry contacts have enabled the company to enjoy significant growth during its 35 years of existence. We represent API chemical producers from Western and Eastern Europe, Asia and India. In addition to its highly qualified staff, Agvar employs the services of several pharmaceutical consultants specializing in FDA regulatory matters relating to APIs and pharmaceutical dosage forms. We use the services of a patent law firm, as well as a law firm, in Washington, D.C., who concentrates its practice in FDA regulatory matters. Agvar occupies 10,000 square feet in a three story brick building in Little Falls, New Jersey and utilizes outside warehousing facilities for storage of its inventory.
